My new seat, and my new crib toy. =)

This is his new seat for the truck. It is a convertible car seat, that he will be in a loonngg time. So far he seems to like it. His other car seat mad him all squished in it. This one he can stretch out and move hi arms more. He can also look out the window in this one. And as you can tell, it is very padded for him. When he gets to 11 lbs, the padding around hi legs can come out. I am not going to take it out unless I have to. But the head padding stays in there until he is like 40 lbs. But he feels like a very big boy. Also he no longer uses his
car seat in his stroller. He just sits in there like a big boy. He loves all the freedom LOL. The straps on his stroller are a little bit big on him, but he does not really need them. He barely sits up in there. Maybe at like a 25* angle. But the only time he is in his car seat now, is when we go running. Which is not a lot, but we are picking up. We are trying to get in shape for a thing called 'in their boots'. But anyways that is another blog. But the picture to the right, is of his new sound soother for his crib. He watched it for a few seconds, and this is what I came back to. He is such a sweet little boy. He is a perfect baby. =) I love him to death. But that it is for this blog.

I am a Big Boy!

This is the first time he sat in my big boy high chair that his Aunt Kathryn Got for him. At first he did not like sitting up to eat. But he adjusted very quickly. He has eaten in there about 10 times now, and he is getting more use to it every day. I think he will like it more when he can control his head, and keep it still when he eats lol. But I wanted to share all of his firsts in this blog. Today he is 4 weeks old, and has hit so many mile stones. We are still working on some. Like using his arms on tummy time, but this will come with time I guess. But he is doing great. He is growing so big. He is now in a size 1 diaper, and has almost outgrown all of his newborn clothes. But he is no where close to fitting in his 0-3 month clothes. they all swallow him. but I guess this will come with time too. =) Ok here is another first..
This is the first time he had a real bath in his big boy rainforest tub. He did not like it at all. I guess it was a little cold for him. I read a tip online, or in an e-mail rather, that we should test our elbow in the water before we put it in the tub. If you like it, he will like it. So the next time I did this, and he loved it. The Internet said it should it should be 90 degrees, and I guess it was close to that. He loved it and wanted to stay in it. He just sat there and looked at his toys lol. He started to move his feet after a while. Also I took out the sling part, that helped him alot. He could balance himself alot more, and did not slip.
Ok and here are the last first (just because I am getting a migraine, and it is 9 pm and past my bed time lol). But to the left is the second time Will put his passy in his mouth, also this is a picture right after his bath. And this is the second time I got him holding his hands on camera. =) And below is of last night. This is the first time he slept in his crib, and the first time in a long time that I got no sleep. This happened because he was not beside me, and I had to keep walking to the next room to make sure he was ok. Even tho I had a baby monitor, it did not help. He was far to quiet. But anyways I am going to try to sleep off this migraine before Will wakes up. I will post more later. Bye bye

Will- up until 3 weeks old..

So far Will now weighs 8 pounds and 4 ounces. He is growing fast. He finally fits into his newborn clothes, and is almost out of newborn diapers. We had our first family picture done, and we had his newborn pictures done. Also, he hates his ca seat, so i found one at target that I am getting on the 15th. At some point his bathroom is going to be done in Monkeys . He reminds me of a monkey. But anyways, he can now turn his head on his tummy from left to right (started at 9 days old or so), follow familiar faces, follow strangers, eat in his big boy high chair, eat 3.5 ounces of formula, and sleep thru the night (except for feedings at 1 and 5). Also he is doing things a 1 month old is doing. Such as: socially smiling, reacting to the bottle or passy, he can hold objects in his hand (only his passy really), comforts himself with his thumb, makes ah sounds, reconizes me, he reaches for me (or my glasses and his dad's ring on my necklace), he turns his head to me when I talk, and can roll on his side from his back. So far he is doing far above what he should be for only being 3 weeks old. But he is doing great, and hitting all his milestones. I am very proud of him. I love him to death.

Labor & Delivery with William....

Contractions are terrible. I went ino Tri-age 2 Sunday's before I had him for a head-ache. They informed me that I was having contractions. They went on for about a week and were 30 minutes apart. The week before I had him, they got to about 15 minutes apart and stayed there, but lasted about a minute. Sunday the 15 (which was my little sisters birthday) I started to get a very bad pain in my lower stomach. It was more like terrible cramps, or like having your appendix burst. It was not bad, just irritating. The next day, Monday the 16, started out as a normal day. My Husband and I cleaned the house, then took the dogs for a walk and to the park. They had a great time playing, and I had a great time watching them. Later that night, I started making dinner like I normally would. I asked Jeff to take over, so I could go to the restroom. When I got out, he decided to keep cooking for me, and I helped him. Then at 6:30, I felt like I wet my pants. So I went to the restroom again, to take care of it, and another gush of water came. At that moment I called my mom.  I went upstairs to talk to her in private, and she told me that my water broke. I decided to call Jeff. He was freaking out, he was also on the phone with his mother. He told me to call the hospital, so I did. They told me to come in. I called Jeff back, who was still cooking dinner, and I told him we needed to go to the hospital now. When we got there, they checked to see if  my water really broke. Which it did at 6:30 pm. They told me I was getting admitted, I think the time was about 9pm ish. My room was great. It was huge!!!
They then informed me on how everything worked. Then I filled out a lot of paper work (that I was going to fill out on my appt that Wednesday) with a stupid IV in my hand that someone put in wrong. To this day my hand still hurts me, because someone can not do his job. But anyways, after that it was about 11pm, they told me I was getting checked at midnight. At midnight, they came in to tell me that 5 more people came in and I would be checked soon. I decided to take a nap. At 2am, they finally came in. I was 5cm and -1 and 50%. They asked if I was in pain, and I said no. Everyone took a bet on how far I was. We were all wrong, we guessed 2cm.  So anyways, I got a shot of pain killer when they came in next, I think it was about 5am? They checked me again and I had not moved. They decided to start pitocin (sorry if this is spelt wrong lol.) But that with the pain killer knocked me out. The next time they came in, I asked for an epideral. This was about 7:30 ish. It took him 30 minutes to show up. When he did, I was in soooo much pain. They tried to give me it, and I would not sit still. Will was coming, and I tried to tell them. I told them I needed to push. They said it was in my head, and not to push. It was so hard not pushing. I only got checked once by the way. The nurse asked when I got checked last. She was shocked at what I said. She laid me down, and checked me. She said get the Dr, we are having a baby now. I proced to mumble under my breath, "Did I not just say that?". But anyways, at that point I could feel everything. My pain meds did not kick in until the end. I was puching for 1.5 hours. At 9:56 WIll finally made his way into the world. They said I did great. I did not yell or curse or anything like that. I could not feel my legs by this point. I was glad because now the hard part came, delivering the placenta. This part gave me a 2nd degree rip, because it was stuck. This is very painful. It took almost an hour to get it out and fix me up. I had only seen my son once, and that was when he came out. They informed the Dr that I needed my bonding time, so I would take care of him and love him. He was a perfect baby. I loved him the minute I held him. They were still sewing me up while I was bonding with him. But I did not notice anymore. When they were done, they let me hold him for like an hour. Then they took him to get cleaned, and shots. The rest of the hospital stay was a piece of cake. We stayed in a Mother Baby unit, so he never left my side. He is thee best baby. He never cried. But this was my experience. I hope you evjoy reading it.
